Yaz Tablets has two hormones: an oestrogen (Ethinyl estradiol) and a progestin (drospirenone). Use to stop a woman from getting pregnant. This medicine can also treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) or mild acne if you use birth control pills to avoid getting pregnant. In addition to keeping you from getting pregnant, birth control pills may make your periods more regular, reduce the amount of blood you lose and how painful your periods are, and lower your risk of getting ovarian cysts.
